This morning my skating club produced a mini gala. The adults stole the show for the second time running! We had the comedy value, the best costumes, and props, what more can you ask?
Adults sometimes get the short end of the stick in shows, we don't have pushy parents desperate to see their little darlings shuffle round the ice or do double axel. On the other hand, that means less interference from coaches, so we can have fun and do our own thing. Plus we don't have to wear silver sequined leggings (!)
